Thai cooks play a crucial role in the success of Thai restaurants in Germany, as they bring authenticity to this world-renowned cuisine.

In addition to cooking delicious Thai food and maintaining kitchen hygiene, the Thai chefs might be required to help with menu development and food ordering.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Circa 80,000. to 85,000. THB monthly
       (base salary + refund of all monthly German social security payments)
  • Free Accommodation and Free Food and Drinks
  • Free Flight from Thailand to Germany
  • One Month Paid Holiday each Year
  • Medical, Dental and Prescription Insurance

​COOK'S EXPENSES IN THE VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Circa 20,000 THB
  • Thai Swiss Cooking Test Certification (12,000 THB)
  • Visa fee 75 euros (circa 3,000 THB)
  • Health check fee at Police General Hospital (circa 1,300 THB)
  • Criminal record check at the Royal Thai Police Office (100 THB)
  • Membership fee for the fund to help people find work abroad (500 THB)
  • Cash on hand on the day of travel to Germany, 100 Euros (around 4,000 THB)
